The clamping alone does nothing. It relies on being able to slip a tiny cable over the seat tray lever. The concept is excellent but the product is too bulky and too heavy.

All of the other mounts would attach to the tray table itself only when it was in the full upright position

It is best to unfold your mount before you attach it to the seat in front of you if not you will have a hard unfold it cause you will pull it off the seat
