Came ready to use out of the box. Very happy with the purchase. It seems like an easy fix for the manufacturer.

Much more attractive and less bulky than the plastic versions. This one folds up super compact and easy to clean. It is convenient that i can fold it away.

Cons

The hinge is too short to hold the hinges firmly in place. The lever is too stiff for the small screws to withstand closing it. The hinges are loud when snapping into place. My stool keeps falling apart and i'm the only one that uses it.
