It handles the washing machine fairly well though i would make sure to put the top side facing out against wash basin as i accidentally washed one facing in towards the spinner and it got caught underneath it

This mat is so thick it feels like its about 1 of memory foam

I held it up to other light grey items in my house and it definitely did not match
