It is really a speciality set that allows threaded rod or anything to pass through. It's just a great set with a lifetime warranty that will probably last a lifetime.
The case is well built (note steel clasps), and it maintains a solid grip on all of the sockets. The only thing i didn't like is that the case socket storage slots are far too tight - requiring a screwdriver to pry out each socket.

I used this with the extension it the ratchets had an offset angle to them for me it would have been perfect

The only complaint really not even worth mentioning due to the quality of this set is that you will need a screwdriver to dislodge the pieces out of molded case

Given that ratcheting crescent wrenches are absurdly expensive theres no reason not to get this set

I did not find the sockets to be as difficult to remove from and put back in the case as some have

Had a set from harbor freight and the sockets fell off because the spring loaded ball is not holding them in place

Of course most items i get work ok for a short while then they are out of warranty
