The material is not leather, it is a cheap plastic imitation. Like a guy wearing a cheap tie with an expensive/luxury burberry suit. Not worth the money.

The purse feels very sturdy even carrying the heavy items although the straps are somewhat thin

Nothing beats genuine leather and the beis tote is way overpriced for a nondesigner synthetic material bag

It has a classy elegant look great for work and isn’t as heavy as similar brands
This tote is perfect and great quality comparing to my brooks brothers bags that usually cost up to 450 retail

My bags for work are usually brooks brothers so my standard for a new computer bag was very high

For short trips i use the integrated handles but for longer trips eg flying or riding the train i use the bags dee rings to attach a crossbody strap

The zipper still works beautifully although i do lubricate it with silicone every few months
