Pros

The fs-7 is much more compact than the fs-6. Small footprint works great in my application. The addition of'mode' and 'polarity' switches adds to it's flexibility.

The pedal itself feels good and can be attached to others of the same kind to create a 4, 6, 8, etc switch pedal. This thing is very sturdy and i have no qualms about stomping on it. Totally awesome pedal.

The fs-5u acts a a switch to advance or backup through presets on my boss looper.

Bought this as an extension for my boss rc-1 loop pedal. Works perfectly with my beatbuddy and my bossrc-3. You can buy an adapter for this though.

Cons

Action is stiff and unreliable. Unfortunately, the switching action is not near as reliable. The advertising is an outright lie.
