Pros

For bose haters and criticizers. After researching it at length there were mixed reviews with many negative comments. I'm not really sure why so many people seem to dislike this speaker.

Audessy 2eq (the auto sound setup) is really easy to do. Custom bracket was made with four screws in the top of the speaker and two screws into the ceiling joist. The sound is perfect for just about anyone who wants great home surround.

I grabbed this one mainly because i appreciated its low profile styling. Plus it matches the bose aucousitmass iii speakers that i've been using for the r & l channels. Will purchase more bose speakers to match.

Polk audio for the woofer. Onkyo receiver is a real amazing piece o tech for its price. I have it paired with polk bookshelf speakers in the front, a yamaha subwoofer and yamaha rear channel and everything seems fine to me.

Great sound for the price; no noticeable harmonic distortion. I prefer a richer, fuller bass. Great sound from small enclosure.

Cons

This speaker has an incredibly small footprint. The best advice i can give is to go listen to the speaker for yourself and inspect the construction. I have two presence channel $15 klh speakers that sound better than this.

Great speaker cant beat the price

I do think the price is too high for what you get and part of my decision was based on my ability to purchase the speaker for less than 199

The only center speaker that fit my dimensional need and reasonable price is this one

Competitiveness

Right now i have a 500w pioneer receiver 150w jbl sub the bose 161s as my fronts and this baby set up as my center

I matched it with a bose acoustimass system and it works great

The lifestyle and acoustimass systems are overpriced and dont do the job

I suppose if you are a highend audiophile there is always something better but for most people this will do the trick
