You will not need to purchase wb50 slide mount separately as this mount comes with it

I purchased both and returned wb50 i couldnt get an answer from customer service as to whether i needed to purchase the slide mount and the product description doesnt list everything thats in the package poor information bose could do better

They can be easily articulated however you want adjusted updown leftright

I ran the speaker cable through the wall and under the mounts and through the top so its very well hidden see my pictures

I had originally purchased nonbose wall mounts but they extended too far out from the wall
