Pros
This kettle looks very stylish on the worktop. The on button is so sturdy, easy one press button and it is on the top of kettle handle. Excellent quality and modern stylish look. Highly recommend this fantastic value for money kettle.
Cons
Kettle starts leaking after 2-3 years. Leaves a puddle of boiling water every time it's used. It leaks directly on to the stand and thus an electrical hazard and dangerous.
Great style but clearly not a feat of german engineering! Very disappointed. I won't be wasting any more money on this brand, that's for sure.
When i switch it on the temperature setting illuminates but the kettle just quietly clicks. I note that many others state the same problem.

Quality kettle worth paying a bit more
Being able to set the temperature is great no more coffee with the flavour boiled away
Same with the keep warm function turn that one poor a cup and the settings is lost when its lifted off the base
We moved to this from a bosch temperature control kettle with the controls on the base which was large
Packaging/appearance
Looks good and stands out on the worktop
Boils fast and you can alter the temperature to suit the drink
Consthe kettles have a flaw on the bottom of the kettle
However the only downfall is you need to press the lid twice to open the kettle
Competitiveness
I like having warm water with my shilajit
It is also a very good looking kettle instantly improves look of your worktop
Its a bit of a challenge filling it as the top now incorporates the temperature controls
And setting for tempreture of 708090 for instance coffe then 100 bioling the 20 minuets holding tenpreture

Great looking kettle love the different temperature feature but it’s life expectancy is poor

First of these lasted less than 12 months before leaking so was replaced under warranty

The replacement has lasted 7 years before causing floods of water on work top each time used

Some may consider 7 years a reasonable length of time for a kettle to last but at the price paid i do not
