The increased durability is well worth the extra cost. Long lasting. Though i suspect the issue may be the same for newer model tools. Sometimes newer isn't always better.

Cons

The diablo blades i replaced these with are far superior. No screws. I cut through one rusty 1/4-20 bolt, this causes the blade to break 2 teeth and to significantly dull the rest along the working area of the blade.
