Pros

Seemed like a quality peice. Looks & works great. Came nicely packaged.

Red wire = 12v dc power. White wire = illumination (could be brighter) rubber grommet is also included to run the sensor wire thru the firewall.

Movable redline needle for adjustability to your application. The red line needle is adjustable!

Solid construction, good backlight, works like a charm. Installation in my peugeot 205 wasn't that hard, backlighting is subtle enough. Backlight is a little dim as others have reported but it can be changed out.

This gauge is easy to read and a like the moveable set point. It's mostly readable but a bit annoying. The gauge is very accurate, and priced very reasonably.

Cons

Worked for about two weeks great, then went haywire. Sometimes it shows the engine idling at 3k. When i disconnected it from the coil, it started right up.

The photo of the dash with the tach looks like the view of one of the factory gauges behind it is blocked but its not

But it looks cool and is a decent tach considering the price

Packaging/appearance

Was a pain to remove and reinstall on the mount

Then it takes some time to run the wire so that its safely out of the way

Bottom line these can be good tachometers but they may not last forever you may get a bad one right out of the box occasionally
