Pros

This is a powerful, handy mixer that fits in my cabinet. I have a small kitchen with limited cupboard space so this lives on my countertop and doesn't take up much space at all. It's lightweight but very sturdy.

It is a powerful little workhorse. It is not noisy like my previous mixer was. To top it all off, it's very reasonably priced.

Bowl is probably big enough to make a four loaf batch. I have a co-worker that has a bosh compact mixer and she brings muffins, cookies, etc to the office.

Huge kudos to bob and his helpfulness to me. My daughter has a ka, which i don’t envy at all.

Cons

The motor sounds louder and screechy than our previous model. Really cheapened the product to save a nickel. L'louder is very light!

The top of the mixer gets batter and flour on the front of it. Can't handle single batch of cookie dough.

The cord head is supposed to slid down into a slot. The slot is hard and somewhat sharp and its damaging the cord insulation.

Competitiveness

It kneads my bread well that i make from flour ground from wheat berries in my nutrimill grinder

It is huge difference between 400w and 800w but both mixer are doing their jobs

Being american though i had to purchase a 240v universal adapter

Update bosch warrantied my mixer and i am now back in business
