Pros
makita 18v lion drill/driver, 18vlion impact driver, charger, and 3 batteries. Case has 4 batteries and a charger.
As an it pro, i need to be ready to tackle a variety of projects. Good for organizing tools in the shop or in the garage.
Lboxx-2 size is one step up from the smallest * container. They are pricey for certain, although less expensive than festool's systainers. They can be neatly stacked atop one another, including a wheeled base option.
Cons
The boxes are thin flimsy and would be ok to store needles and thread in in moms sewing room. As for the folding dolly, that's were you really hit a wall.
The top handle is shorter and harder to lift up. I really have to dig my fingers in there and pull hard to get it to snap loose.
Highlights
Quality
Quality is very good and the insert bins with some of the boxes give you a lot of flexibility with your storage needs
Ive got a bunch of these boxes since bosch gave me one with the 18v drill i bought
Im also not thrilled with the fact that the topmounted handle is attached only to the lid and not the sides
On the negative side these gen 2 boxes dont work with the gen 1 divider cups and trays

Sure they are a bit pricey but the cost is easily offset by how much more efficiently i can work how easy they are to transport... Read More
The cost is so so for the type of materials being used in the manufacturing process

My bosch ccs180 circular saw charger a few batteries and drill fits easily inside the lboxx3
Competitiveness
Lboxx1 with insert set fasteners of all types for mounting racks cabinets and wallmount brackets
Not as heavy duty as some of the dewalt offerings but much more flexible in my opinion
If they threw these in with their costlier tools and if bosch or better yet someone else would offer all the great accessories ... Read More

They do those functions well but they do so at the cost of space which is at a premium in my small home workspace

If i had the budget for a dedicated shop i would probably find the bosch lboxx cases not as good a solution as they are

I may order some pick and pluck foam but for now find them to work well with the tools right next to one another when mixed sanders in one box etc

If you depended on the cases for your lively hood the inserts or padding might be more important
