Ive used 3inch chisels and 5inch clay spades on 35 pound hammers in past for same task but the chisels are sometimes hard to draw back out if you go down in more than a few inches and the clay spades are too wide when the stone is too compacted

Now it has arrived and the blade is very thick like a cold chisel profile

I bought this because we had to dig a 100 ft foundation ditch through soft rock
