These are specialty bits, but they take your projects to a higher professional level. Not quite as nice as the o. Vix but close. They are now made in usa (as of now) by * or snappy tools.

These work great for attaching hinges. They are great for installing hinges on small boxes. Great for hinges and drawer slides.



Cons

Very disappointed with this delivery. My lesson is to now open and use items i purchase before the 30 day return window closes. Their chat is never available.

    I got some of these from harbfrei before and the spring on inside slipped and became unusable in one use

    If youve ever installed door hinges on a new door you know how frustrating it can be to get that first screw off center and the have to work the other screws to get the hinges centered

    This results in debris getting stuck downup in the collar which you must remove at some point in order for the collar to move freely up and down

    To do this you need to release the drill bit with a hex wrench and then pull the bit out with some pliers because its going to be stuck in there

    As ive never had any self centering bits before i dont know if this is a common issue or if its specific to the bosch bits
