Of course plastic by its nature is made from oil and no doubt there are other nasty chemicals in there but you cant get away from them since nearly all toys diapers pacifiers crib mattresses etc contain some sort of nasty stuff these days hydrocarbon based chemicals are everywhere in todays world

The nipples collapsed all the time which caused spilling of milk and the curved shape of the bottle was just so hard to clean

The only thing i didnt like about this product was that if i have leftover milk in the bottle the milk would spill a little even with the lid on but the circleshaped plastic cover you put underneath the nipple ring will solve this issue i didnt know the circle thing was for blocking the liquid

The classic bottles work much better the deco design is made of a different plastic not as good
