The battery that comes with it is crap and should be immediately replaced with a durycell or equivalent so it doesn’t leak and run the meter

It also had a quality issuethe battery terminals didnt have enough tension to make contact with the battery so i had to bend them to make the thing turn on right out of the box

These are very negligible differences which have no effect on the quality and accuracy of the readings and no one should be buying this class of meter for serious electrical work anyway
