The boox has all of the necessary features for a student without all the whistles and bells theres no led screen or notifications or applications to constantly distract you from your work

There is a 1520 second start up time once the device powers off to save battery and it can then take 1520 seconds to open the first document once the device starts

The writing experience is good but occasionally the writing on the tablet vs the movement of the stylus will not align perfectly a slight annoyance at worst

From my personal experience the stylus tip may be wearing slightly with use but i havent been able to track this yet to see if the wearing is significant according to customer service the tip shouldnt wear

The flaws so far are minor and the highlight for me is the customer service most of the time the boox team sees and replies to your message instantaneously its like walking up and talking to a person
