Pros
I am surprised that something so simple can be such a game changer. This does the intended job well. It is flexible and if treated well, looks like it would last.
Cons
There is no extra weight added to the silicone that i can see. If i hold my (not huge) book at a slight angle (how i always read) the weight just slips down the book.

It’s flexibility also makes it durable so if dropped or pushed against it still does not break or come off
It has a strong adhesive that sticks to almost any flat surface
I bought this tool knowing that reviews said it wouldnt work on heavier stiffer books
Price
It’s a good price for something i use often and it’s very helpful so i can read and eat simultaneously
But if cost is a consideration you can’t go wrong with this one

Competitiveness
At first i wasnt excited about the brand name being visible on top but thats no big deal and im glad i got them
I tried another brands leather book weightplace holder and it was too light too slippery
While i was hesitant to purchase the silicone ones considered this brands leather one im happy to have purchased the silicone one
It’s heavier than the other bone shaped brands of page holders

Not too heavy so it doesnt damage the book but it holds the pages so i dont have to juggle to see the recipe

I had a leather one that was only useful when on a flat surface otherwise it tended to slide off the book

Except for the weighted ends it really is transparent enough to read through though really its better to just move it on the page

It does not slide if your book is tilted
