Pros
The quality is great, it's sturdy and holds up a few of my textbooks very well. Hold the books with minimal shelf space. Each bookend has little rubber pads so your furniture/shelves will not get scratched.
They're sturdy and quite chic. The ends are heavy but not crazy heavy so even my little kids can handle them. Non-slip pads keep them in place.
Product as advertised, very nice. Comes in easy to open packaging, and is individually wrapped to avoid scratches. Theses ones stand out a bit more. Was delivered promptly.
This item is perfect for its' intended use. Reasonably priced.
The bookends are very sturdy and hold up even heavy books; it's just a matter of sliding them underneath. At approximately $10 per pair of bookends is very reasonable given the high quality. Would gladly order more. This is terrific value.

As you can see by the photos, the finish on the bookends is terrible.

When i received them one of the holders had a paint chip

The cut outs are cleanly machined and the finish is baked on so there are no sharp edges

They are nice however only gave 4 star rating because 1 set of these were already scratched in bottom corner upon opening the box
