I ordered this last winter and it worked great until a few weeks ago

I had shoved too much paper into it it jammed and then a gear broke in the process of trying to get the paper to go through

However if you try to put a little bit thicker stock it may not shred the paper completely

I dont think this is issue with the shredder it is just not designed to cut through large stock

If you put it in the cd slot it will not shred completely
