I have severe osteoarthritis in my neck. Now my left hand is free to roam up the neck. It is well made and provided a nice cushion.
It’s setup so you could disable it easily and adjust it. As an added bonus, this shoulder rest stays securely in place. The longer than usual end conforms to the shoulder well.

Cons
As one gets it lower and lower, one of the screws bumps into the curved section. The shoulder rest bends itself and touches the screw and bends up like an s.
The foam pad is cheap and seems like it will wear out over time. The rubber on the leg wears off quickly and will damage your violin. The padding is rather thin, but this is part of why it is does not muffle the sound in any way.
The quality is okay. It's just not that much of an improvement over a standard kun rest for what they charge for this thing. Buy a kun instead, half the price, is easy to adjust, and doesn't have metal near the feet that will easily scrape your expens... Read More

This should rest is comfortable and sturdy but the little rubber feet are already coming apart the protection

Its just this one issue where the rubber is coming off of the little feet where they grip onto the actual violin
