Pros & Cons
Pros
Bell has an excellent gold metallic finish. On easily to a standard handlebar. Don't lose your mind and time scrolling, honestly things aren't that complicated.
Bonmixc brass mini bike bell is louder than my existing bell sports dinger 200 chrome bell. Each produces a loud, clear ding-ding (in close succession) sound. Helpful when overtaking another bike or pedestrian on a bike path.
Cons
When it works, it sounds fine. Does not rattle like my last bell. Normal street riding causes it to loosen and so, the whole bell comes loose and won’t ring. This causes the bell to 'clink' instead of ring loudly.
It seems from * it in once, then unscrewing it once, it ended up getting stripped. There is a nut that's supposed to grab the screw, and the nut was missing.
Highlights
Quality
This bell has an excellent gold metallic finish clamps on easily to a standard handlebar and is easy to operate with one finger
Very easy to install and very stable on the bikes
My old bell had a spinner that hit the bell repeatedly with each flick of the lever
It didnt last and never really worked well mostly just produced a thud
Price
I was skeptical of this bell given its low price point but i gave it a chance and am so glad i did
This unit is inexpensive sounds great and installed super simply
95 on amazon at less than half the price per bell if you buy the 2pack of the bonmixc bell
I initially bought this bell to try out since it was so cheap
Packaging/appearance
I wanted an unobtrusive bell for my electric scooter for warning pedestrians and bikers that i was passing
I needed a small bell that had a decent ring and this little bell checked all the boxes
Competitiveness
I have tried other bells this is the best
If you compare photos of the two bells on amazon they appear to be identical in every respect at least outwardly
