There is a collar select button that toggles between the two but this button is not active until after you have already shocked or vibrated the dog giving you a 50 50 chance of being the dog you intended
The only workaround is to tap on the vibrate or beep button as quickly as possible then check which doge was selected change the selected dog if not the one you wanted and then send the intended training signal
