Some of the reviews say the thermostat has broke but make sure you read the instructions the lid has three little holes for the steam to go out in the instructions it mentions to make sure they face the handle because the thermostat is close to that bit and release of steam makes sure the temp is accurate

Durability not tested has only done 4 weeksif it lasts it should be 4
