It's sturdier and heavier but in a good quality way. I like that it's glass and well-made. It's a teeny bit heavy but not overwhelming.

Cons

Bottom 2-piece feeder with little port holes leaks and drips…. It is difficult to hold onto when trying to screw the bottom feeder (upside down) onto the red jar which contains the liquid. All the hummingbird food leaks out!

Red glass of bottle is opaque like it has some coating on it. Also the jar is sprayed with something red and is beginning to wear off already after only 3 mos. But if you want a red glass feeder, this is not what you should buy.
