You just leave the handle turned to the temp you prefer then the sensor turns the water onoff

I installed this faucet today and it was fairly straight forward

I deducted 1 star because there is a small white nylon cap and a black rubber washer that wasnt mentioned in the directions

I hooked up the faucet and turned the water on and it leaked from the faucet head

After some trial and error i figured out that the white nylon cap goes in the head followed by the black washer before you screw the faucet head on
