This item does stretch, but sizing down is not a good idea the item life will be reduced by putting that unnessary distress on the fabric not designed for compression.

Looks nice and iam 5ft 11 and 158 pds got a medium very short in length very short on the arms if you wear the boots like the model u may be ok
