Pros
I love how easily it holds the lotion - nothing drips off. I hang it in the shower and it's easy to keep it clean. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a lotion applicator.
I agree that the elasticised handles can be a bit tricky to keep hold of. The elastic part stretches out, but you can still use them.
It's so easy to moisturize my back now. I have a regularly moisturized and happy back for the first time in my adult life.
For me, this device is a godsend. Well, it works. This thing is awesome.

I have had a dry back and dry legs for quite some time it only bothered me when i exercised it gave me this horrible burning sensation

Just put some lotion on the center then move it from side to side to apply it

If you have thin or runny lotion this might not work as well but if you smear it around the applicator some before trying to use it that might keep it from dripping off
