Quickly boils 1 large or 2 smedium cups of hot water for coffee or tea, more than enough for oatmeal or noodle bowl. It heats water to the perfect temperature for my tea. My kid uses it for ramen.

My only real gripe is that you are not able to clean the inside of the kettle. This kettle gets used at least 5 times daily, no problems. Highly recommend the bodum bistro electric water kettle.

It takes 5-8 minutes to boil 1 liter of water. The lid is held in place by 2 cheap little plastic rods or pins. Even if you try to reposition the lid, it just keeps falling into the kettle. I unplugged it when not in use, there's no explanation for it...  Read More
