Pros & Cons
Pros
Sometimes, i find these quite pricey in store. They're packaged nicely in a resealable container. I store mine and containers because the boys are lazy and don't reseal the bags and i don't like stale products.
Safe for gluten intolerant folks. Great for overnight oats in crockpot. Makes for extra creamy oats with some heft. I use this to make almond oat bars.
Cons
This product is not organic. They can be contaminated with gluten while being processed. Best hope of buying food that isn't contaminated is to make sure the label says “certified organic’.
This is misleading, so buyer beware. I hope this review save someone from repeating my error.
It's in the right package, but it's more like oat powder or wallpaper paste. I have to add water and skim the hulls off before i make the oatmeal, and there's still some that get through.
