Pros

These are not the ratchet ones but are easy to use and hold very well. These allow for quick connect and disconnect allowing us to clear the ramp very quickly. Strongly recommend them, for any boating use.

Easy to use and easy to lock. Very easy to install and very rigid. Locking is easy.

Great to replace the rusted original straps. The velcro holds the excess strap and the rubber mat prevents rubbing on the hull.

Cons

The hinge pin is cheap and will bend / deform after a single use. The only thing that acctually connects one hook to the other is two small rivits. Maybe mine are just defective, or maybe it's me.
