I have a hp dv7 this battery is the same size and shape as the original but for some reason the fit was not great it had to be pushed in to place a bit aggressively to lock down and it has a tiny gap along one side of it

I wasn’t able to give a longevity or battery life review because i just used it one and seems to work a lot better than the first one i got from these guys that wouldn’t even hold a charge for five minutes
