The mold has holes in the top in order to fill in water very easily.

At first try i overfilled it causing the water to overflow onto the sides.

When lowering the top onto the bottom, it forces the water up into the upper half of each spherical mold.

Basically you pour water into one side of the mold and then put the lid on.
