Pros
New lighted cover works perfectly and my kindle works as promised. The new lighted cover is heavier than the unlit version but not so much that it makes any real difference to the handling. It has a light and offers solid protection.
It shines right on your kindle and it does not disturb your sleeping partner. I'm currently in a rather rough neighbourhood, and my kindle spends days at a time tucked away in my cargo pocket.
The cover folds around the back nicely and the strap can be used to hold it in that position. It has a band to keep it securely closed and the pebble grain leather is very durable and appears to be immune from scratching.
Case is gorgeous (i went with brown), with a nice soft inner lining. It has a sleek look and leather feel which is great!

Cons
The kindle tablet slips out of the jacket. The lint from the inside of the cover sticks to the screen of the kindle. The light is not dependable.

You should be carefull with the hook they can break easyly after a while
The only suggestion i could make would be to put a small instruction sheet with the item

The cover arrived one day earlier than promised and the packaging was efficient and earth friendly

I found that holding the kindle without the cover i was always pressing one of those buttons by mistake

My original cover without the light was somehow causing a glitch w the kindle that caused it to go through a rebooting sort of process at random times which caused unnecessary waiting etc
