As it is when the speakers are placed over ears the hat does not cover lower earlobe allowing it to get cold

Volume level is ok for quiet environments but will not overpower or block out much ambient noise

I would say that if you are walking running shoveling or other low noise activities and want a little music to pass the time while keeping your head warm then these are ok

Upon removal i could see that the unit is not sealed in any way so i would not wear this in a heavy rain as it is obviously not waterproof
