Now I give this a 5-star, because it is essentially making me lazy. I bought this at the same time as buying the Wifi Signal Range Extender kit, but I had to babystep the improvement experiences. So after testing the initial Antenna upgrade to the controller, I did not use this until I was pretty well set & comfortable with the antennas I received with the kit. After about 10 flights, I felt the need to try this Car kit out. I have a nice little pickup truck Nissan Frontier SV, and attaching this was easy, the wire is flexible enough I run it through the door jam/insulation so I can comfortably sit in the truck, have the tablet open on the dashboard, and fly from inside an Air Conditioned vehicle. I've even gone as far as, setting up my backset as the command & control, with the Antennas mounted on the roof of the truck, running the wires through the back window's sliding window. If I could Pan the angle of the antenna, that would make this the BEST car kit ever. But the expense of having the antenna follow the drone, would make spending a few hundred. I stick to using the omni-directional antennas instead of the directional(flat) antennas when using the the car kit. This alone, having a outdoor mounted antenna, is worth the price. I've recently gotten into surveying neighborhoods, and various other side-projects. Using this car kit made doing these tasks way more comfortable, even with the shortcomings of these products, these are still far better to have/use than nothing. Ever attach a smartphone to your drone, to Geo-map your neighborhoods wireless signals... Surprising at how many signals overlap each other within neighborhoods.   Read Less
