Pros
Metal brackets are very sturdy. Perfect for my pool ladder. Totally kept me from breaking the old ones and hurting myself.
Cons
The screw holds them, kinda, but with the extra room they wobble around. My ladder pipping is 2 in diameter. Broke at the base two weeks after install.

I dont know if i really needed these or not the plastic ones that come with the ladder seem pretty solid
These look strong but be careful with the paint because i wasnt careful and one of them chipped during installation exposing the metal
