This inexpensive tool is fantastic! Nothing flashy about this. My only gripe is the build quality. This gives me both better access to the gain knob but also keeps it from dangling.



Cons

The blue icicle and shure x2u sort of work. I have another condenser and an active ribbon that have all the same result with both icicles. Not impressed with this converter at all, especially looking at the price.

This product is cheap and should not be bought for its cheapness. With levels all the way up, it's totally unusable. Complete useless and a waste of 42 dollars.

The icicle does its job well but does feels chintzy, and like it will break apart if you are not very delicate handling it.

    At the time of this review ik multimedia just released a 100 plug and play xlr to usb converter howeverits up to you but if you want to record decent demos or stuff on a budget this is a good option get the irig pre if you want to record full band jam sessions or recording concerts
