Pros

The bluebird is a great all around mic, but i found it perfect for vocals, stringed instruments, and some light percussion. This mic was a no brainer for me.

The bluebird advertises a warm tone and silky smooth highs. After some reverb and fx treatment it sound very good. Highs are crisp and the plosives seemed controlled.

The bluebird is a great mic. You really need to tighten that little thumb screw a lot.

Considering the cost of top tier microphones, this bluebird's cost is modest. Bought as a christmas gift for my son.

The bluebird is a wellbuilt mic and holds its own compared to highend models of other brands

Ive sung into it as well and it is far better in clarity than my old mxl 770

I own a highend recording studio in california and i have mics that cost 20 times more than the bluebird

I used a high quality gold xlr cable plugged it into the preamp of a presonus box and recorded into protools
