Pros & Cons
Pros
The real deal-sealer – it's sustainable. I feel good knowing i'm not contributing to some massive environmental footprint. All i do is scope, scope and scope and it works as described.
It seems to track close to the box but hard to tell how much is due to regular cat traffic or the cats' enthusiasm for fastidious burying. The only con is how much it tracks, it tracks as much as other litters but it's easy to see! Have some kitty lit... Read More
When i open the sack that contains even a weeks worth of kitty poop and pee scoopings, there is still absolutely no stink or odor at all. The stainless steel never stinks like plastic litter boxes after the plastic gets scratched.
This crushed walnut is easier to clean ( spray cooking oil in box) and it cleans so easy. The only complaint i have is that it is dusty…but i would rather we breathe in walnut dust than clay dust, so i'm okay with it. Lastly, it seems to last much lon... Read More
Cons
Please listen to this legit review and do not buy. I find it odd that this is so highly rated. Soooo this litter is not good for lr4.
Started peeing and * outside the box. I have 3-4 inches of the litter in the box and still get a sludge at the bottom that just won't clump properly. As soon as to go to pick up the pee, it just breaks all apart. I still get the * wet blobs i have to ... Read More
Only reason to get this is if you like playing is it dirt or cat litter (cat litter is brown like dirt) it smells awful. Tracks everywhere and when it is soiled/wet, it smells so much worse than just the waste alone.
It does not clump. Created more mess and stinky due to not clumping. Both litters just crumble.
Highlights
Quality
It forms solid lightweight clumps and it doesn’t break apart like clay litter when you’re scooping which is why it lasts such a long time
I have always hated litter pan duty but this litter works well and lasts a long time between changing even with two cats
Last product i used grew mold within two days
Hardly any tracking off the litter box mat virtually no dust and unscented and good clumps
Price
Overall this has been my favorite affordable litter the past few years
It clumps very well theres no odor the cats dont mind it and its relatively inexpensive
I am tired of shitty litters that don’t do the job and cost a fortune
It is a little pricey but absolutely worth it
Shipping
It took two days of searching on amazon and reading reviews before i decided to try naturally fresh blue
Packaging/appearance
I actually thought kitty hadnt been using that box with the naturally fresh walnut litter
I put some in the litter boxes basically top dressing the arm hammer glide and i was instantly shocked
The only remotely negative aspect is that the poo smells worse in it but really i kind of appreciate that bc it forces me to cl... Read More
Competitiveness
Compared with other cat litter that i like naturally fresh cat litter is cheaper and does as good of a job as any other that i have tried
Other brands that claim to have “tight clumps” are full of it in comparison to this brand
My litter box never smells and it seems to last much longer than other brands
