As for the light blocking they do actually block green and blue light

Looking at a color wheel on microsoft paint for example reveals that the entire wheel is either black orange or red

Also if your torn between these or emr tek glasses get these dont buy from emr tek the glasses are too small and the customer service is terrible they dont even respond to return request emails
