Pros

The hard plastic one with a drain plug. We just pop it in the washer and then fully dry in the dryer after each use. It is so cushy and eliminated my concern for the hard basin surface.

The mat cradles my newborn in a soft, comfortable, and secure embrace. The petals snap together and they are highly cushioned to protect the baby. The absorbency is impressive, keeping my baby warm and snug throughout the bath time experience.

Cons

This is environmentally, a disaster since you have to put it in the dryer, probably twice. It's also unhygienic, since bacteria festers inside of this thing no matter what you do to it. Dried fast but wouldn’t buy it again.

While an interesting concept, this is one that just doesn't deliver. Do not recommend. Returned item for these reasons.

It takes two people to bathe a newborn because there is no support. My newest isn't there just yet.
