It opens with two young girls found in the water and their deaths were painful and death was slow and degrading. The romantic side with stevens leaves you wondering what's next. Psychological twists and turns keeps the story exciting and you reading.

Lei texeria is a complicated woman with a difficult past. Leilani texeira is the main character and she is one tough lady. Lei is kidnapped and manages to kill the person responsible. Looking forward to hearing more about lei.

This storyline and setting are nice. Exceedingly well written. Storyline keeps one guessing about who did what.

Toby neal is a master of descriptions and setting the stage. The descriptions and emotions make you feel these are people and environments you already know and want to keep up with. Thanks toby for bringing me home.

Lei puts herself and others in danger with her impulsive and ill-thought out actions. The love story part is unconvincing and reads like a harlequin romance. The dog is the only saving grace.

The pigeon english adds nothing to the plodding storyline. The love interest with another policeman is totally plastic and could have easily been left out.
