Rather than switching on in mode it was previously in it switches on in the next mode in the sequence

For example if you turn the flashlight off when you were using the flashlight in lo mode the flashlight will switch on initially in strobe mode the next mode in the cycle when you turn the flashlight back on

That said it isnt a dealbreaker since you just have to softswitch to the desired mode after you switch the light on as i said its just cumbersome to need to switch back to the desired mode frequently

The smooth anodized surface is slightly slippery making it a tad awkward to switch onoff singlehandedly

The beam focus is adjustable but even at its widest beam the beam is still quite narrow approx
