Pros

It's an easy process -- just use a bit of dish detergent and gently clean and dry. There are also instructions should the diffuser accidentally tip over—simply pour out any remaining water, shake the unit to drain excess water, and let it air dry.

Diffuser can be set to go for 2, 4, 6 hours or continuous. I love the way it senses a person near it to turn on.

A simple frosted plastic, like those in the muji store, is certainly much more chic. It makes me think of a ming vase a little bit.

Smell diffuses nicely into the room. Goes well with their feng shui/spa ambience. My room smells great, calming, and feels romantic.

The mist is fine and fills up the room nicely. This one puts out a strong mist.

Cons

To me the designer's attempt is almost comical. The silver cap is super tacky looking. Lid and base don't lock up, therefore, water spills all over the place.

Ive tried a few of the cheaper diffusers which seem to burn out pretty fast and sometimes even work intermittently

This diffuser looks as if it were made of glass but it is actually plastic

Very lovely look which doesnt look bulky like those humidifiers bought from drug stores

Upon taking this out of the box and setting it up it looks nice but the real charm is when this lights up
