Im 51 and when i have my feet at the bottom of the fins and the top pulled all the way up it doesnt quite reach my shoulders

Im sure they did it for the asthenic affect of adding realistic mermaid detail by keeping the fin sturdier but the fin is lined with a scratchy fabric
