I must admit ive always been a marshall guy but i do feel they have lost their way a little recently in the lower spec practice amp end so when looking for a new amp blackstar who according to wikipedia are exmarshall people was the logical choice

The amps ability to be programmed via the downloadable software was for me a main selling point as i had expectations of of being able to fashion the sounds to taste for instance the amp has no treble bass or middle control knobs but when connected to the computer software these controls and many others become available
