The first thing you should know is that a 1 watt tube amp is suited for practice and smalltime jam sessions only though i suppose if you threw a mic in front of it you could play a small gig

You can dial in a surprising range of tones through this amp the clean channel can be very clean if you keep the gain low but the audible volume will also be pretty low

The overdrive channel seems to have a tube screamer type circuit in front of the tubes to push them which add its own character diode or opamp clipping to the tone

Its sounds ok but my guess is most of the gain comes from the builtin pedal
