Pros
The tether-tab is a clever solution to this problem. It provides a place to attach a lanyard, holds securely, and allows me to use basically any case i want. Even if i am holding my phone over a ledge it’s not going to go falling to its doom.
Overall a great buy, just ordered 2 (4) more. The listing is pretty straightforward about what you're getting. This is awesome.
It's simple and effective. It works and it is sturdy. This does the trick. Works like a charm.
Cons
What i really need is something very similar to this but with a strap that is make of a durable material, like nylon with kevlar thread or a high-tex stitch.

By the looks of that picture the product looked way too thick to sit in my slim silicone case

But as you can see in my included picture the tether tab is quite small and is proximately the thickness of two sheets of paper

It also comes with a peel and stick adhesive pad to go on back of the tether

I haven’t used mine yet as i only want to use it when i go on vacation but i can see just by looking at it that the little loop that hangs out of your phone is only glued together
